AboutMy emphasis in therapy is to support you in identifying your unique goals, and work with you to remove barriers toward building the meaningful life you have envisioned. I work to create a warm, supportive, collaborative, and safe space in which clients feel encouraged to fully engage in the therapeutic process. I specialize in combining expressive art therapy and traditional talk therapy to provide you with a non-judgmental environment that invites you to discover new aspects of yourself, freedom of expression, and permission to grow. I have experience working with children, adolescents, and adults with a wide variety of diagnosis’. I have an eclectic approach, and am able to mold to the need of the client. Typically, my sessions are person-centered focusing on the presenting problems of the client, and working with the client on finding their ability to use their personal strengths to cope with the symptoms they may face.
I obtained my Master’s degree from Marywood University, and am working towards licensure in the state of Pennsylvania. My clinical training is in counseling psychology and art therapy. I have been working in the outpatient setting for the past two years tailoring my skills to my client’s specific needs to set attainable goals in therapy. I believe that when working with an individual the therapeutic relationship is an essential aspect to the client’s success, so I hope we find that connection you are looking for to strive for resiliency.
